The Christoforos Charity Foundation (CCF) was set up in memory of George and Areti Nicolaou’s beautiful son, Christoforos, who sadly took his own life in 2022 after joining an online forum where he received “horrific messages”.
The force behind setting up this foundation is driven by the founders’ infinite determination, be it directly or indirectly, to try to help and save as many children as they possibly can; not only from the negative impact of social media misuse, but also from harmful online content, cyber bullying; and from dangerous exposure to the dark web where predators lurk, disguised behind a digital screen, trying to earn our children’s trust.
